⁴¹ But give as tzedakah those things that are within, and indeed everything is pure to you.

⁴² “But woe to you Pharisees, for you tithe mint, rue, and every garden herb,^[a] yet bypass justice and the love of God. It is necessary to do these things without neglecting the others. ⁴³ Woe to you Pharisees, for you love the best seats in the synagogues and the greetings in the marketplaces.
